Following Jesus is an individual decision, but the journey is best made in good company. Groups are a place where we can connect with others and grow in our relationship with Christ.
We have different types of group meetings all throughout the year. Most Groups launch in mid-September and normally take a break throughout the Summer. You can sign-up online or at the Next Steps area in our lobby.
Below are the different kinds of Groups that we have. Find your community and begin to take your NEXT STEPS.
Life Group
Life Groups are a group of 8-12 people who meet in various places across the downriver area during our group terms (fall , winter, spring). These groups share life together and discuss the previous weekend’s message.
Care Group
Care Groups are here to support you and build you up. We believe that coming alongside one another to listen, care, and share God’s love can help you get through addictions, stress, grief, and loneliness.
Discovery Group
Discovery Groups are topic-based groups that study various books and themes from the Bible while exploring their application in our daily lives.
Serve Group
Serve Groups get together to do just that: serve. Whether it’s Habitat for Humanity, feeding the homeless, or preparing funeral receptions at the Church, the groups focus on serving.
Activity Group
Activity Groups are groups centered around some sort of activity such as 3 on 3 basketball, cardio drumming, or knitting while maintaining the intentionality of connecting with others and building one another up.
